The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Oncology will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding the company’s presence within the oncology segment. This position focuses on developing strategic partnerships and promoting oncology products across major hospitals, cancer centers, and healthcare institutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong therapeutic knowledge with business acumen and relationship management skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders, ensuring sustained business growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth within the oncology segment.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across key hospitals, cancer centers, and healthcare institutions.
- Develop and implement territory-specific business plans aligned with overall company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with oncologists, oncology consultants, pharmacists, and key institutional decision-makers.
- Collaborate with hospital procurement teams and pharmacy departments to facilitate product inclusion and ensure continuous availability.
- Manage institutional accounts, oversee tender business, and optimize product availability to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
- Communicate product knowledge, clinical benefits, and relevant information effectively to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, and market intelligence reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Pharm-D, B-Pharmacy, or M.Sc. in Life Sciences.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably within the oncology therapeutic area.
- Strong understanding of oncology products, hospital operations, institutional sales processes, and formulary management.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop strategic account plans and effectively manage key institutional accounts.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet business needs.
