Pakistan has been one of the first partner countries of KfW as FC started already in 1961. The staff at the KfW Office in Islamabad comprises the country director, five sector specialists, two office managers/administrators and two support staff.

 Administrative

The Office Administrator is responsible for

  • ensuring that administrative regulations comply with KfW guidelines and procedures.
  • supervising support staff for office cleaning and maintenance
  • updating the filing system
  • monitoring the availability of accessories and stocks and carrying out procurement by guidelines.
  • ensuring all vehicles are maintained.
  • ensuring complete maintenance and tracking of inventory/furniture
  • Support in the procurement procedure

Accounting/Finance

The Officer Administrator is responsible for 

  • carrying out all accounting tasks
  • processing of vouchers, invoices, overtime and daily allowance
  • keeping track of all financial statements, regular financial reporting to HQ (WebCash)
  • ensuring timely submission of tax payments and related statements

Other duties/additional tasks

  • Responsible for dealing with the Risk Management Office, ensuring a comprehensive approach to security measures, especially for missions.
  • Maintaining HR-related activities including salaries and updating the HQ about any personnel-related matters.
  • Support to the PR team including managing the Twitter account.
  • Logistics Management including ticketing, car rental, and hotel bookings of National & International staff.
  • Support in obtaining NOCs and visas for Intl. staff.

All tasks will be carried out in close coordination with the Office Manager.

Required Skills        

  • experience in procurement, administration, and finance
  • very well organized, punctual, reliable, and service-oriented
  • must have good communication and presentation skills, and intercultural competence.
  • must have a willingness to work in a team.
  • must be fluent in English.
  • very good working knowledge of office automation systems and computer applications (full MS Office package)

The salary range offered is up to Rs. 270,000, depending on experience.
