TERMS OF REFERENCE

Project Overview:

Khwendo Kor Organization, under the Afghan Socio-economic Empowerment Project, is seeking a qualified and experienced Trainer to conduct a 1-day training program. The initiative aims to empower 63 Community Resource Persons (CRPs females) in Peshawar, Haripur, and Mardan. The focus is on providing essential skills in enterprise development, business management, and marketing strategies. The trained CRPs will play a pivotal role in disseminating this knowledge to Afghan displaced women, contributing significantly to their socio-economic empowerment.

Scope of Work:

The selected Trainer will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive 1-day training program for the identified 63 CRPs, with a strong emphasis on working with Afghan displaced women. The training will cover the following key areas:

  1. Tailored enterprise development strategies for displaced women.
  2. Specialized business management techniques considering the unique challenges Afghan displaced women face.
  3. Customized marketing strategies for community-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a detailed training curriculum, adapting content to the specific needs of Afghan displaced women.
  2. Deliver culturally sensitive and interactive training sessions.
  3. Provide practical examples and case studies relevant to the Afghan context.
  4. Facilitate discussions and Q&A sessions to ensure a thorough understanding.
  5. Assess and evaluate the participants\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' grasp of the training content.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated experience in conducting training programs tailored for displaced populations, specifically women.
  2. Strong understanding of the socio-economic challenges faced by Afghan displaced women.
  3. Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  4. Previous experience working with community-based organizations and women empowerment initiatives will be an advantage.
  5. Develop a comprehensive plan outlining how the trained CRPs will further impart the acquired knowledge to Afghan displaced women, ensuring sustainability and effective knowledge transfer.
  6. Fluent in Pashto

Logistics:

  • The training will take place over a day period in Peshawar, Haripur, and Mardan (specific venues to be confirmed).
  • Khwendo Kor Organization will provide necessary training materials.

Training Participants
