As a Mobile App Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user engagement, retention, and overall customer satisfaction through targeted strategies executed within the Customer.io platform. You will leverage your expertise in mobile app market trends, segmentation, and analytics to drive impactful engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, creative thinking, and analytical skills to optimize our customer communication channels effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Segmentation Strategy:

  • Develop and implement segmentation strategies within Customer.io based on user behavior, demographics, and preferences.
  • Continuously analyze user data to identify relevant segments for personalized communication.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute targeted campaigns aligned with business objectives and user segmentation.

Customer Journey Optimization:

  • Map out the customer journey within the app and identify key touchpoints for engagement.
  • Implement strategies to optimize the customer journey and drive desired user actions.

Analytics and Performance Tracking:

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, user engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
  • Interpret data insights to refine strategies and improve overall engagement effectiveness.

A/B Testing and Optimization:

  • Conduct A/B tests on various messaging elements to optimize campaign performance and user response rates.
  • Iterate on messaging strategies based on test results to maximize engagement outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer support to align engagement initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform product and marketing strategies based on user feedback and engagement data.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Customer.io or similar CRM platforms, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the mobile app market, user behavior patterns, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective segmentation strategies and execute targeted communication campaigns.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or equivalent, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audience segments.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to drive decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in mobile app engagement, CRM management, or related roles.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with mobile app analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Flurry, App Annie).
  • Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization within Customer.io.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation principles and workflows.
  • Previous experience in SaaS or mobile app industries.
