Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounts payable and receivable activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Prepare detailed and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Lead the implementation of ERP systems by coordinating with technical teams, users, and stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.
- Conduct system building activities to support business processes, enhancing efficiency and minimizing errors or loopholes in financial operations.
- Identify areas of improvement within existing financial systems and processes to address potential risks and close operational gaps.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2 accounting personnel, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to develop their skills.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during auditing processes to ensure correctness and transparency of financial data.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure appropriate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing necessary financial data and insights to management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve discrepancies, streamline workflows, and deliver accurate financial reporting.
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations, financial technologies, and industry best practices to enhance the accounting function.
