Job Purpose/Objective:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Laravel/Vue.js Developer to join our remote development team. The developer will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining web applications that meet our clients' requirements and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing clean and efficient code, an eye for design, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Laravel/Vue.js applications.
• Write well-structured, efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal application performance and responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers, providing regular updates on project progress.

Performance Metrics:

Pull Requests: Quantity submitted, accepted, and rejected.

Code Reviews: Quality of given and received reviews.

Code Maintainability: Metrics like duplication, complexity, and coding standards adherence.

Bug Fix Rate: Number of reported bugs resolved within a set timeframe.

New Features: Count of implemented features within a specific period.

Feature Completion: Percentage of tasks finished on time.

User Story Points: Agile story points achieved per sprint.

Communication: Timely and clear interactions with team, stakeholders, and managers.

Collaboration: Active engagement in discussions, knowledge sharing, and issue-solving.

Page Load Speed: Enhancements for quicker Vue.js application loading.

Server Response Time: Monitoring and enhancing server performance in Laravel.

Database Query Optimization: Efforts to speed up database queries.

Task Completion: Percentage of assigned tasks finished on schedule.

Code Vulnerabilities: Addressing potential security flaws.

Data Protection: Following data privacy regulations.

Prior Project Experience:

• POS
• ERP
• CRM
• E-Commerce

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Experience: Proven experience (5 years) as a Laravel and Object-Oriented PHP Developer.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Laravel framework and ecosystem.
• Strong experience developing single page apps with Vue.js.
• Experience integrating Laravel APIs with frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of web development concepts and workflows.
• Ability to write modular and scalable code with a focus on performance.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of MySQL, version control with Git, and unit testing.
• Passion for learning and using new technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote position.
