We are looking for an experienced mobile developer for our office in Karachi who could help us launch and maintain an iOS mobile app. Candidate should be a proactive problem solver, excellent communicator with a thorough understanding of full mobile application development lifecycle and industry practices.
Ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Proficient with Objective-C or Swift with at least 2+ years of experience.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Some understanding of working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
Should be able to work closely with Graphic design team and Quality Assurance team to build user interface to perfection.
Understanding of mobile logging, error handling, and mobile application life cycle
History of successfully working with a distributed team
Experience with a git-flow development process and good understanding of git as a source control tool
Experience with a JIRA-based workflow
Experience building mobile applications that gracefully handle degraded network conditions
Experience using push notifications (APN)
It’s a plus if you have the following qualities:
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards especially Material.io UI framework for iOS.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Experience with chatting App is plus.
Some experience of C# development.
Computer Science degree from a reputable College/University.
Some understanding or experience of Android app development.
