Lab Engineer - Environmental Engineering

Applications are invited for a position at NUST requiring a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates currently enrolled in MS or PhD programs who meet the minimum qualification criteria are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory operations and ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of all equipment.
- Provide support for teaching activities related to laboratory work, assisting faculty and students as needed.
- Control inventory by maintaining accurate records of laboratory supplies and materials.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory compliance within the laboratory environment.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports related to laboratory activities, including safety audits and inventory logs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Environmental Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- Candidates currently enrolled in MS or PhD programs who meet the minimum qualification criteria are also eligible.
- Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory. Candidates without PEC registration must obtain it before joining the position.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- At least one year of experience working in a research laboratory within an academic setting is preferred.

Candidates may be disqualified for reasons including having a third division in their academic record, a weak academic profile, being current NUST employees with less than one year of service or lacking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution, currently pursuing the required degree, or being medically unfit.
