The role involves managing and maintaining laboratory equipment, tools, and experimental setups to ensure smooth operation during lab sessions. The candidate will assist faculty members and students with practical work, ensuring that all instruments are properly calibrated, safe to use, and functioning correctly. Additionally, the position requires supporting the preparation of lab manuals, experiments, and related technical documentation to facilitate effective learning and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and experimental setups.
- Assist faculty and students during lab sessions and practical exercises.
- Ensure proper calibration and safety compliance of laboratory instruments.
- Monitor the functioning of lab equipment to prevent downtime.
- Support the preparation and updating of lab manuals, experimental procedures, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:
- MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, with a BS Engineering degree from an HEC-recognized university or institute.
- Specialization in Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Must hold a valid PEC registration number.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Relevant professional experience will be preferred.
- Candidates must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents.
- The highest education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by HEC.
- Candidates with a third division in their academic career or a weak academic profile may be considered ineligible.
- Employees currently working at NUST with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered.
- Candidates still pursuing the required degree or medically unfit will be disqualified.
- Government or Armed Forces employees must provide a NOC from their respective parent department or organization.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
