The Transport / Logistics / Fleet Supervisor is responsible for managing fleet operations, ensuring efficient transport of goods, time optimization of fleets transit, compliance with govt. laws, safety standards, and cost-effective utilization of resources. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement mindset.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Fleet Management: Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, dispatch, and tracking.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to transport laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Operational Efficiency: Optimize routes, fuel usage, and driver schedules to reduce costs.
• Team Leadership: Supervise drivers and logistics staff, conduct training, and manage performance.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze transport KPIs, including delivery times, costs, and fleet utilization.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
