Laravel Developer Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated trainee to join our team for a six-month unpaid internship. This full-time remote opportunity offers hands-on experience in web development technologies and software engineering practices. The position requires commitment from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ideal candidates will have recently completed their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology and are looking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Work with AJAX to enhance user experience through asynchronous web requests.
- Support integration and consumption of RESTful APIs and handle JSON data formats.
- Participate in database design and management using MySQL and other relational database systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Engage in continuous learning to improve technical skills and contribute to team goals.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Undergraduate students or those currently enrolled in academic programs are not eligible.
- Beginner-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data interchange formats.
- Fundamental knowledge of relational database concepts and operations.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced remote work environment.
- Ability to work full-time during specified hours and maintain consistent communication with the team.
