Laravel Developer (Bigcommerce App)

We are looking for a motivated Laravel Developer with 1-2 years of practical experience to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. The successful candidate will have solid expertise in the Laravel framework and PHP, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure code. This role involves active participation across all stages of the software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP, ensuring adherence to best coding practices. Interpret technical specifications and translate business requirements into effective solutions. Write comprehensive unit, functional, and integration tests to maintain code quality. Provide ongoing support for live systems and proactively troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and stakeholders to align development efforts with project goals. Enhance front-end functionality using HTML5, Less/CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Utilize version control systems such as GIT and BitBucket, alongside project management tools like JIRA. Employ command line proficiency to streamline development workflows. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms will be considered an advantage.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Between 1 and 2 years of hands-on experience working with the Laravel framework. Strong proficiency in PHP and a thorough understanding of Laravel best practices. Solid grasp of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS (Less), Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Experience with version control tools like GIT and project tracking software such as JIRA. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs and deliver technical solutions. Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with e-commerce systems is a plus. Experience working on Linux, CentOS, or Windows operating systems is desirable. Candidates should have a system meeting minimum requirements: Core i5 (6th Generation) processor or higher, 8GB RAM, SSD storage of 128GB or more, and a battery backup of at least 3 hours. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 8 hours per day. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 75,000. This is a remote role, providing flexibility in work location.
