We are looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team full-time. This position is based on-site at Bahria Phase 4 Rawalpindi and requires working night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using the Laravel framework. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code to ensure software quality. Work collaboratively with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to meet project objectives. Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to improve functionality. Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed. Participate in code reviews to maintain best coding practices and standards. Ensure application security and data protection measures are implemented and consistently maintained.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of practical experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework. Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency in MySQL, RESTful APIs, and version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Willingness to work night shifts and on-site at Bahria Phase 4 Rawalpindi.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies is desirable. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
