We are looking for a highly organised and charismatic individual for the role of community manager, overseeing all aspects of the workspace operations including a programme of ongoing events. On top of the duties you would expect of a manager, a proactive interest on how to make the community better e.g game nights etc. Individual would be required to have a very vocal enthusiastic personality with great sense of humor.

About the role: This is an exciting role, building on a recently established coworking culture, that focus on: maintaining full occupancy of the office; building and growing a solid membership for the co-working spaces.

 

  • To maintain 100% occupancy and achieve target goals.

  • To ensure that workspace is fully operational and processes are running smoothly

  • To maximise revenues by implementing attentive cost control measurements, using commercial flair to proactively promote all that the Launchbox has to offer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of member satisfaction.

  • Managing Launchbox’s social media page

  • Managing Visit, Call Logs and Reports

  • Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including member introductions, overseeing events, electronic and print communications, and building walkthroughs.

  • Produce comprehensive quality control reports that allow all stakeholders to improve the member experience.

  • Solve member related issues to ensure a cohesive community and manage member expectations.

  • Take responsibility for sales and community dynamic.

  • Oversee events to ensure there is a good balance of educational, member appreciation, and lead generating/sales related events.

  • Prepare reports that outline community and sales progress.

  • Engage in the wider community by attending events and networking with local start-ups and organisations.

  • Building expenses management.

  • Ensure building and member safety as it relates to fire and emergency plans.

  • Effectively manage Launchbox membership to ensure a healthy community.

  • Establish meaningful relationships with external stakeholders.

Candidate profile:

Experience:

Knowledge of the creative industries sector and/or business start-ups.

Experience of developing and maintaining key stakeholder relations.

Customer service experience required.

Operations experience required.

Knowledge of building management and property maintenance issues.

Experience of events management.

Experience of processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records and chasing aged debtors.

Experience of monitoring and reporting.

Experience of marketing and communications, including social media.

Experience of managing staff or volunteers.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills–friendly, diplomatic and assertive when required. Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills Proactive in problem solving. Able to work under own initiative. A head for figures, margins, budgets, and revenue. Good attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture IT Literate with a solid knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel as well as wireless and wired networking

Strong sense of need for achievement of goals and successes. Outgoing with a positive and proactive approach. Flexibility to work across more than one business site and to work some evenings and weekends where required.
