We are looking for an experienced Lead Audit professional with a strong background in the textile industry to oversee the execution of the Master Audit Plan. This role is critical in ensuring effective audit operations, compliance, and risk assessment within textile sector operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience conducting audits in the textile industry and will be responsible for managing audit planning, execution, reporting, and developing the audit team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement Audit Plan – Design and execute the master audit plan to ensure timely administration and compliance, with a specific focus on the textile industry.
Risk Assessment & Management – Conduct thorough risk analysis, identify high-risk areas, and allocate audit resources effectively within textile operations.
Audit Execution & Compliance – Lead audits following approved checklists, best practices, and regulatory requirements, particularly targeting the textile sector.
Report Review & Recommendations – Ensure audit reports are accurate, clear, and actionable for senior management, incorporating a textile industry perspective.
Stakeholder Engagement – Facilitate progress meetings to address audit findings and develop action plans tailored to challenges unique to the textile industry.
Internal Controls & Regulations – Monitor adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory frameworks relevant to textile manufacturing and exports.
Team Leadership & Training – Provide guidance and training to audit staff, enhancing their expertise in textile industry audits and fostering professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
- CA (Part Qualified), ACCA, ACMA Qualified, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance specifically within the textile industry.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience conducting audits in the textile sector.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and risk assessment tailored to textiles.
- Expertise in internal controls, compliance, and regulatory frameworks related to textile manufacturing and exports.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
