We are looking for an experienced Lead Azure Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of expertise to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud security. This role demands the ability to independently manage Azure environments, provision infrastructure both manually and through automation, and support application delivery for projects built on .NET, ReactJS, and Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Azure cloud environments, including subscriptions, resources, and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructure.
- Provision infrastructure manually and automate provisioning using tools such as Terraform or Azure-native technologies.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for .NET, ReactJS, and Python applications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline application deployment processes and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Apply DevOps best practices, including automation, monitoring, deployment strategies, and continuous operational improvements.
- Enforce strong cloud security measures, covering identity management, access control, network security, compliance adherence, and security monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure architecture and cloud engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Proven ability to manage Azure accounts, subscriptions, and cloud resources effectively.
- Strong background in DevOps practices within Azure environments.
- Proficient in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Solid expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with supporting deployments for .NET, ReactJS, and Python applications.
- In-depth understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and cloud architecture principles.
- Demonstrated experience implementing security controls and best practices within Azure infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud governance, cost optimization strategies, and managing enterprise-scale Azure environments is a plus.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and lead cloud engineering initiatives effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to design cloud solutions that align with both business goals and technical requirements.
