LAMP MVC Rock Stars Needed
Mature tech start-up seeking talent to join our young company. Lead Envy is the leading underwriting and decisioning software for online lenders in the United States. Due to rapid growth, we're looking to add PHP developers to our very strong team.
The company is located in Bonita Springs, Florida USA with close proximity to Naples and Ft. Myers. The office space is an open, co-working space with a fun team dynamic. We take our work seriously, as well as our ping pong games and beach bbq's.
What we're looking for in a developer:
- Strong communication skills
- A TEAM PLAYER - we want to maintain our high, positive energy office dynamic
- Someone who writes code like a book; not someone programming like a spaghetti cook
- Experience with MVC framework - we like skinny controller, fat model. If you don't know what that means, this position might not be the best fit
- Self-motivator - our programmers are here to help, our team lead is solid, but you need to push yourself to get tickets done
Required
- At least 4 years of programming experience in a LAMP environment, preferably with ZEND but any similar framework sufficient
- Backend strengths with core MySQL (or similar) database expertise. Our reports need to run fast without loading entire database data into memory
- Front-end experience with jquery, AJAX, etc...for web GUI changes
- Familiarity with Linux/CentOS or similar
- Code repository comfort level - we use git, but as long as you know how to checkin/checkout code, as well as tag and restore, you should be fine
We are looking for a F/T employee with benefits, although we would be open to P/T, as well.
