Lead Full-Stack Engineer – AI Product Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience, specializing in AI product development. This role requires a strong product mindset and hands-on expertise in building AI-native applications. The successful candidate will take full ownership of product areas, managing everything from technical planning and development to testing, deployment, and ongoing production support. The position is based in Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad and follows a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

- Own features and product areas end-to-end, from scoping and technical specification through to production delivery.
- Create detailed technical plans and specifications prior to development, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy 2.0, PostgreSQL, Alembic, Pydantic v2, Celery, and Redis.
- Build modern, responsive frontend applications with React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, and Tailwind CSS.
- Utilize Docker, AWS, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Incorporate AI coding agents such as Claude Code or similar tools into daily development workflows.
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and correctness.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership while maintaining an active role in hands-on development.

Required Qualifications

- 7 to 10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong full-stack development skills with Python/Flask for backend and React/TypeScript for frontend.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, and REST API design and implementation.
- Experience working with Docker, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and TDD practices.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a strong sense of product ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with pgvector for vector similarity search and related applications.
- Background in building Large Language Model (LLM) applications or AI/Generative AI pipelines.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS application development.
