Lead Information Security Automation Specialist

This role supports the Head of Cyber Security Solutions Implementation & Automation by leading and executing key projects and strategic initiatives within the team. The successful candidate will ensure that security considerations are integrated throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final execution. Building and maintaining strong relationships with IT and Information Security stakeholders is essential to align efforts and foster collaboration. The role requires analyzing complex technical and business data to inform tactical decisions and effectively communicating insights to both technical teams and executive leadership. Embedding security best practices and user-centric design principles into project delivery is a critical focus, alongside mentoring junior team members to encourage knowledge sharing and professional growth. Close collaboration with Information Security teams is necessary to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly security solutions. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for driving security assessments, tracking identified findings, and ensuring effective remediation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in leading and executing team-wide projects and strategic initiatives under the guidance of the Head of Cyber Security Solutions Implementation & Automation.
- Champion the integration of security considerations across all phases of project management.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key IT and Information Security stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize complex technical and business information to support informed decision-making.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences, including technical teams and senior leadership.
- Proactively incorporate security best practices and user-centric design principles into project planning and execution.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with Information Security teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
- Lead security assessments, track identified findings, and ensure timely and effective remediation.

People Management

- Build and nurture professional relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across the bank, including IT and Information Security departments.
- Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences such as analysts, technical specialists, and business stakeholders.
- Adapt communication style to suit both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different business units.
- Foster collaboration and alignment with Information Security teams and broader bank stakeholders through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cyber security or related fields.
