We are currently seeking a strategic and execution-driven leader to join our regional logistics team as Lead, Logistics Operations. In this role, you will manage a team of specialists responsible for regional logistics operations, rider staffing frameworks, and daily operational performance across multiple markets. You will serve as the essential link between data-driven strategy and operational execution, ensuring rider supply aligns precisely with customer demand. Your leadership will help maintain high service levels while optimizing cost efficiency. By driving operational improvements, refining forecasting models, and enhancing supply planning, you will improve delivery times, resolve bottlenecks, and increase fleet efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Logistics Operations Specialists. Foster a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and operational excellence, empowering your team to challenge existing processes and solve complex marketplace challenges.

- Logistics Strategy & Market Performance: Own overall logistics performance for assigned regional markets. Monitor daily trends, diagnose operational issues, and implement data-driven solutions to improve delivery times, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.

- Forecasting & Supply Planning: Oversee daily demand planning and rider staffing frameworks. Guide your team in refining forecasting models and shift planning to ensure optimal fleet coverage, balancing service level targets with cost efficiency and cost-per-order goals.

- Process Improvement & Automation: Promote continuous operational improvement by identifying manual bottlenecks and driving adoption of automation, AI productivity tools, and scalable systems to reduce manual workloads and enhance team efficiency.

- Product Rollout & Project Delivery: Lead the operational launch of new logistics products, tools, and feature enhancements across markets. Ensure smooth regional execution, conduct post-launch impact analysis, and align local operations with central product and technology teams.

- Cross-Functional Leadership & Market Partnership: Collaborate strategically with Local Logistics Leaders, Finance Leaders, and Product Managers. Translate complex operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership and standardize best practices across the region.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in high-growth technology, logistics, strategy consulting, or operations management. Experience in gig economy platforms, marketplace dynamics, or logistics is highly advantageous.

- Proven leadership experience with 1–2+ years managing direct reports or leading complex cross-functional projects.

- University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.

- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and Excel, to audit team outputs, guide analytical strategy, and perform data analysis when necessary.

- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to take ownership, think logically, and hold accountability. Comfortable challenging the status quo, negotiating with senior stakeholders, and presenting to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
