Lead MEP

The role involves managing and leading MEP contractors throughout the duration of construction projects, ensuring that all electrical and mechanical tasks are executed efficiently and within the defined timelines. The candidate will oversee the quality and progress of work performed by contractors, coordinate with various teams to implement electrical systems, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and statutory requirements. This position requires active involvement in planning resources, conducting quality checks, and facilitating smooth communication between engineering, design, and site teams to meet project objectives. The successful candidate will also participate in technical meetings and ensure the successful commissioning and handover of electrical systems to clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage MEP contractors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Monitor and control execution activities performed by contractors to maintain alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement electrical systems in accordance with project schedules.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with IPC standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of electrical materials and verify contract bills to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Plan and arrange materials and manpower effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams by providing site inputs related to electrical drawings and project needs.
- Attend project progress meetings, site inspections, and MEP-related technical discussions as directed by the project manager.
- Oversee the commissioning and handover process of electrical systems, promptly addressing any issues that arise to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in managing MEP works.
