Lead .NET Developer | C# | ASP.NET Core | Azure

Dealers Hub is a UK-based automotive SaaS company specializing in dealership management software (DMS), websites, CRM, inventory management, and third-party integrations for car dealerships across the UK. As our platform continues to expand, we are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Lead .NET Developer to take full technical ownership of our SaaS platform. This role involves improving system stability, optimizing performance, and leading our development team to deliver a reliable and scalable solution.

Key Responsibilities
- Take complete technical ownership of the existing SaaS platform, focusing on architecture, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Investigate and resolve recurring system errors, slow response times, bottlenecks, and architectural challenges.
- Review and enhance the existing codebase to maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET technologies.
- Optimize database queries, APIs, background services, and third-party integrations for better performance.
- Implement robust error logging, monitoring, automated testing, and proactive issue detection mechanisms.
- Improve deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and overall production environment reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the development team while establishing strong coding standards and best practices.
- Identify technical debt and create a clear roadmap to ensure long-term platform stability and scalability.

Required Qualifications
- Over 7 years of professional software development experience with significant expertise in C# and .NET.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
- Proven experience in building, managing, and scaling production SaaS applications.
- Deep understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture, database optimization, caching, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment.
- Skilled in diagnosing complex production issues such as memory leaks, application crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and software security best practices.
- Previous experience leading technical teams and making architecture-level decisions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
