Lead - QA

We are seeking an experienced Lead - QA professional with 7 to 10 years of expertise in data testing and quality assurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in ETL automation testing, data validation, and working with data platforms such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Hub. Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and Python is essential. This role involves developing test strategies, identifying risks, validating data integrity, and collaborating closely with developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality data throughout the data lifecycle. The position is open in Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, or Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of existing products to identify deficiencies within Data Warehouse or Data Hub environments.
- Propose effective solutions to address product issues and improve overall quality.
- Investigate product quality challenges and recommend enhancements to boost customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure consistent and timely project execution.
- Identify bottlenecks in quality assurance processes and suggest actionable improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Monitor daily and weekly regression test cycles, supporting maintenance, operations, and release activities.
- Participate actively in reviews of product requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both local and remote teams to facilitate smooth workflows.

Required Qualifications:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on ETL data testing.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data validation within Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Data Hub environments.
- Experience in developing comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
- Hands-on knowledge of Medallion Architecture and its application in data pipelines.
- Skilled in building and maintaining test frameworks and automation tools.
- Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and XML, as well as search technologies.
- Experience working with enterprise databases including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
