Lead/AVP, Product

Ahya Technologies, a leading sustainability innovation company in the Middle East, is seeking a technically proficient Lead/AVP, Product to take ownership of AhyaAI, AhyaAPI, and Tawazun. These platforms form the intelligence and integration layer that delivers Ahya’s climate intelligence, emissions calculation, and offsetting capabilities to partner platforms and channel partners. The role involves end-to-end product ownership, translating partner and stakeholder requirements into actionable architecture and design, and defending key decisions directly with company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem & Integration Ownership:
- Manage the AhyaAI roadmap, including EF Search, Data Capture, Data Check, Predictive Analytics, and Reduction Optimization, ensuring these capabilities extend into AhyaAPI and Tawazun.
- Oversee the AhyaAPI roadmap, focusing on Estimate and Offset endpoints, facilitating partner platforms’ integration of emissions calculation and offsetting into their customer products.
- Define and maintain the specification for Tawazun’s channel partner ecosystem, covering partner onboarding, listing, and marketplace transactions.
- Coordinate the cross-functional integration between AhyaAPI, AhyaAI, and Tawazun, clearly delineating Phase 1 and Phase 2 boundaries for initiatives and defending these under scrutiny.

Roadmap & Prioritization:
- Prioritize the product roadmap based on compliance deadlines, partner integration commitments, and phase-in schedules rather than internal preferences.
- Make informed trade-off decisions between competing stakeholder demands, clearly communicating the cost and impact of each decision.
- Maintain a transparent and leadership-ready roadmap that requires no additional walkthroughs.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead collaboration across Climate Science, Engineering, Carbon Markets, Design, and partner engineering teams from scoping through launch.
- Work closely with Design teams in Figma to review and approve UX flows for all product surfaces before engineering handoff.
- Deliver product demonstrations to prospective partners, enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Present product specifications and prioritization decisions directly to the CEO and executive team, prepared to defend all material choices.
- Manage dependencies across teams and proactively identify risks to timelines.

Delivery & Quality Oversight:
- Monitor feature delivery against original specifications and flag deviations early.
- Validate completed features before sign-off to ensure alignment with specifications.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to identify improvements for subsequent phases.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BEng), Data Science, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in product management, with at least 2 years focused on platform, API, or integration-layer products. Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulated/compliance-adjacent software is preferred.
- Strong ability to understand and reason about data models, API contracts, and system architecture, even without direct coding responsibility.
- Proven experience collaborating with Design teams, particularly using Figma, to influence product decisions based on usability as well as functionality.
- Working knowledge of carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or voluntary/compliance carbon markets, or demonstrated ability to quickly gain deep domain expertise.
- Exceptional written communication skills capable of producing documents that withstand both technical and executive scrutiny.
- Comfortable receiving and acting on direct, detailed, and rapid executive feedback.
