• Plan and carry out HSE-related framings & awareness for the site employees.
  • Supervise all the maintenance activities performed within the premises as per HSE Requirements/ SOP’s.
  • Supervise Inspects terminal for fire prevention/hazardous, violations or hazards on a periodic basis or during the course of their activities.  Inspects alarms, hydrants, sprinkler systems, and standpipe systems for operational use and report to immediate in charge.
  • Supervise gas testing procedures/activities by AGT (approved gas tester) from HSE specialist.
  • Supervise safety log book and firefighting stock maintenance.
  • Compliance on Tank Lorrie’s checklist.
  • Promoting the prevention of injury to personnel and avoidance of damage to plant and personnel.
  • Ensure all firefighting equipment in installation and buildings are in good working condition and supervise all works in any emergency situation.
  • Perform scenario-based fire drills to cope with emergencies.
  • Ensure implementation & compliance with the following programs at all levels i.e Permit to work system and housekeeping plan at site.
  • To ensure & implement that Material safety Data sheets (MSDS) of all hazardous materials used in the terminal are available & properly maintained.
  • Supervise all safety staff and their activities.
  • Conduct training sessions with terminal staff regarding fire and safety.
  • To perform any other duties as instructed by the immediate in charge.
