DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Assist in developing press releases, articles, reports, website content and related materials that will raise the organization’s profile to a wider audience.
- Handling PID and All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) related issues which involve appointment of advertising agencies, suspension of agencies and release of advertisements.
- Coordinating with advertising agencies on USF panel for the issuance of promotional and non-promotional advertisements which includes design of advertisement and subsequent issuance of Release Orders to PID
- Maintaining liaison with representatives of print and electronic media which involve newspapers, magazines, TV and radio channels
- Managing USF events as a team player and must be able to take lead.
- Managing proactive USF presence on Social Media.
QUALIFICATION:
- At least (4 years) Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Media Affairs, Management or MBA/MPA from a HEC recognized institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates having Master’s degree.
- Proficiency over MS Office and media related software’ will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE BASE:
- At least 2 year experience of working preferably in the field of marketing, communications, public relations, creative writing or media related work environment.
- Must be well aware with active media contents and its utilization in given time and resources.
- Practical exposure of digital media campaigns related to socio economic development and development of its contents will be an added advantage for this position.
- Proven track record of managing social media events and its active representation on related media sources such as TV or internet would be a definite plus for this position.
- Must be well aware of qualitative and quantitative aspects of regional demography of the country.
- Must be able to generate and execute impactful awareness for unserved and underserved dwellers of the country.
- Experience of creative writing on various forums.
