Lecturer - Cyber Security

Air University is seeking a qualified candidate for a position in the Cyber Security department at its Kharian Campus. The ideal applicant will hold an MS or M.Phil degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related computing discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates must meet the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria regarding publications and experience. The terminal or highest degree must be attested by HEC, and in the case of foreign qualifications, an equivalence letter from HEC is mandatory. The role requires experience in online teaching, reflecting the university’s commitment to flexible and modern education delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality online and on-campus instruction in Cyber Security and related subjects.
- Develop and update course materials to align with current industry standards and academic research.
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to publications in reputable journals as per HEC requirements.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students in their academic and research pursuits.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the overall educational environment and promote interdisciplinary initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- MS or M.Phil degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or a closely related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Terminal degree must be attested by HEC; foreign degrees require an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in online teaching methodologies.
- Publications and professional experience in accordance with HEC standards.
- Age between 18 and 50 years.
