- Ensuring the Institute’s Code of Practice on Assessment is accurate and readily available to all staff, students and external examiners;
- Ensuring staff are aware of and comply with all deadlines for the setting of assessments and the return of marks;
- Monitoring the work of the staff supporting the Institute’s assessment processes;
- Ensuring that the Institute’s external examiners receive accurate and timely information and documentation;
- Ensuring that the Institute’s Board of Examiners meetings are held in accordance with the institute’s policy;
- Liaison with the Examinations Office on academic matters relating to assessment.
- To be responsible for the smooth running and administration of all public examinations and to liaise with teachers, students, parents and examination boards in respect of examination requirements, entries, results and communications, ensuring that the institute adheres to all Awarding Bodies’ regulations.
- Acquire and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the examinations system, Examination Board regulations and any changes which occur within the examinations field.
- Should have above 1 year experience in education sector
