Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned instructor with hands-on software development experience to deliver our project ‘Savvy Minds’ core curriculum. You are someone who is passionate about developing engineers, possesses the right balance between academic and hands-on practical software development experience and is looking to have a meaningful impact on career trajectories of engineers worldwide. You will help prepare and deliver the lessons, mentor participants on the projects, measure and document student progress and partner with internal stakeholders to enhance the curriculum to optimize participant success rate. To succeed in the role, the ideal candidate will need to combine practical computer science skills and engaging teaching methods to deliver high-quality instruction. We’re a start-up and the ideal candidate will need to be willing to roll up their sleeves, efficiently prioritize, and deliver quick results for our student population.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of teaching experience in software engineering at a reputed organization.
- 2+ years of industry software development experience in MERN full stack development.
- Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience in content creation for software development training.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills.
- MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching computer science and software development at the university level program.
- Demonstrated experience developing curriculum in line with current industry learning standards.
- Demonstrated experience developing training materials across in-person experiences, virtual classrooms, eLearning and self-directed learning modules.
- Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves, tackle diverse and varied problems, and find innovative, scalable solutions.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
