Licensing Advisor

Zones LLC, a leading global IT solutions provider with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Licensing Advisor to join their Partner and Product Management team in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Licensing Advisor will be responsible for managing software license lifecycles, subscription renewals, and providing dedicated support to clients within their assigned region. The position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to influence both business and technical stakeholders. Reporting to the Licensing Lifecycle Manager, the advisor will engage directly with clients, publishers, and internal teams to ensure smooth licensing operations and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage proactive client engagement for licensing maintenance and subscription renewals, acting as the primary contact for licensing escalations in the assigned region.
- Coordinate regular client meetings alongside Customer Success Specialists (CSS) and account support teams to review licensing status and business needs.
- Facilitate scheduling of business reviews, status calls, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Support standardized licensing reviews to ensure all client requirements are met and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with licensees regarding business needs, onboarding/offboarding processes, and product reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and projects within the ticketing system.
- Manage client install base proactively to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Take ownership of all customer licensing inquiries, coordinating with internal and external parties as needed.
- Monitor and respond to “red flag alerts” with intensive client communication to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate closely with CSS on software-related escalations and issue resolution.
- Analyze pricing trends and customer feedback to assist in closing custom deals.
- Drive issue and risk mitigation efforts by working across departments to ensure timely resolution and recovery.
- Present action plans for issue resolution to the account team with scheduled follow-ups until completion.
- Work alongside the Software Asset Management (SAM) team to deliver internal reporting on key lifecycle events.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Tier 1 software publishers.
- At least 3 years of account management experience, preferably with IT software support.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems for case management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver world-class customer service and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly and develop effective solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding productivity goals.
- Experience with Microsoft product terms and conditions.
- Completion of Microsoft MCP (Licensing) certification.
