Lift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Lift Operator to manage and maintain lift systems in a commercial or public environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and safe operation of lifts while adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, regular maintenance, and the ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and emergency duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the lift system in compliance with established safety guidelines and protocols.
- Conduct pre-operation checks to verify that lift systems are functioning correctly before use.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oiling, cleaning, tightening loose bolts, and inspecting cables and gears to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lift usage, maintenance activities, and any repairs conducted.
- Adhere strictly to quality, environmental, and safety management system standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Enforce discipline and ensure compliance with the institution’s policies at all times.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education of Matriculation, with preference given to candidates holding Intermediate qualifications.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining lifts in a commercial or public setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
- Willingness and ability to work in shifts, including being available for on-call or emergency duties as required.
