Linehaul Planning Lead-Logistics

This role involves leading the end-to-end planning and optimization of the linehaul network within Daraz logistics operations. The focus is on ensuring cost efficiency, service reliability, and scalability across the transportation network. The successful candidate will design and implement strategic transportation plans based on volume forecasts, service level agreements, and capacity constraints, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with commercial growth and seasonal demand.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the comprehensive planning and optimization of the linehaul network to support Daraz logistics operations, ensuring efficient cost management and reliable service delivery.
- Develop and execute strategic transportation plans across critical trade lanes, taking into account volume forecasts, service level agreements, and capacity limitations.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to synchronize linehaul strategies with broader commercial growth objectives and fluctuations in seasonal demand.
- Utilize data analytics and optimization tools to create dynamic routing and scheduling models that enhance asset utilization and reduce transit times.
- Partner with carriers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and internal operations teams to implement transportation plans, monitor key performance indicators such as transit compliance and cost per parcel, and drive continuous improvements through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or large-scale e-commerce supply chain planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as SQL or artificial intelligence applications.
- In-depth knowledge of global trade compliance, carrier management, and multimodal transportation economics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and translating complex operational data into actionable business insights.
