Linux Server Administrator Lahore Office Based

We are seeking a skilled Linux Server Administrator / Hosting Engineer with a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Linux servers, web hosting environments, virtualization platforms, networking, and production infrastructure. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, the ability to troubleshoot critical production issues independently, and a proactive approach to maintaining server stability and security. The position is office-based in Lahore and demands a professional who can handle complex technical challenges with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux servers running RHEL, AlmaLinux, CloudLinux, and CentOS.
- Administer and troubleshoot cPanel/WHM hosting servers.
- Oversee virtualization environments including Proxmox VE and Virtualizor.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, resource utilization, backups, and security measures.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to CPU load, memory, storage, disk I/O, network, and services.
- Troubleshoot WordPress, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, DNS, SSL, and email-related problems.
- Conduct server migrations, backups, restorations, and disaster recovery processes.
- Investigate and mitigate malware infections, security incidents, abuse complaints, and DDoS attacks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, networking, NAT, IP addressing, and overall server security.
- Perform server hardening and implement security improvements.
- Optimize server performance, stability, and reliability continuously.
- Provide technical support for escalated server and hosting issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis beyond standard troubleshooting methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, changes, and incident reports.

Required Qualifications
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is mandatory.
- Proven hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration, especially with RHEL and Red Hat-based systems.
- Strong command-line proficiency and troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.
- Practical experience managing cPanel/WHM servers.
- Hands-on expertise with Proxmox VE and Virtualizor virtualization platforms.
- Solid understanding of Linux networking concepts and server security best practices.

We are looking for a technically strong Linux Server Administrator who goes beyond basic hosting support and standard troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should be capable of deep system-level analysis, root-cause identification, and confident management of critical production infrastructure. This role requires reliability, security awareness, and the ability to work effectively under pressure during outages or incidents.

Compensation and Work Environment
- Monthly salary range: Rs80,000 to Rs150,000.
- Full-time, office-based role located in Lahore.
- Candidates must have RHCSA certification and practical Linux server administration experience.
- Experience with hosting infrastructure, cPanel/WHM, Proxmox VE, and Virtualizor is highly preferred.
