Localization / Product Development Engineer (EVEE)

We are seeking a motivated Localization / Product Development Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team in the automotive and electric vehicle (EV) industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering and will play a vital role in supporting the localization and development of automotive components. This position involves close collaboration with various internal departments and external suppliers to ensure product quality and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support localization and product development activities to adapt components for regional manufacturing and market requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate the localization of automotive parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Evaluate existing product components and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and cost optimization.
- Assist in testing, validation, and quality improvement initiatives to uphold product standards and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to drive seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in product development or localization within the automotive or EV sector.
- Strong understanding of automotive components and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams to meet project goals.
- Basic knowledge of testing and validation procedures related to automotive products.
