The Dispatch Associate is responsible for managing final mile delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient service. This role involves overseeing drivers, maintaining real-time communication to provide updates, and resolving any delivery-related issues. The Associate collaborates closely with warehouse staff to align delivery schedules and share status updates, which helps optimize logistics processes and maintain smooth operational flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Route Optimization: Plan and manage strategic final mile delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce transit times.
Team Leadership: Supervise daily delivery operations and monitor team performance to ensure targets are consistently met.
Efficiency Tracking: Track transit times and implement improvements to enhance delivery speed and reliability.
Cross-Team Liaison: Coordinate logistics activities between the warehouse and support teams to maintain seamless communication and workflow.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date dispatch reports and logs on a daily basis to support operational transparency.
Customer Relations: Professionally address customer queries and manage email correspondence related to deliveries.
Operational Support: Handle incoming calls and provide real-time assistance to drivers and customers as needed to resolve issues promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or dispatch operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive monthly salary ranging between Rs75,000 and Rs90,000.
- Full-time, on-site position located at Civic Center, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi. Working hours are from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
