Logistics Coordinator

Greenovative Solutions Inc., a third-generation plastic recycling company based in Montreal, Canada, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its Karachi team. The company provides sustainable plastic solutions to clients across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This role involves managing international shipments to ensure they are timely, compliant, and well-communicated, working closely with the Montreal headquarters, truckers, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and clients to guarantee smooth delivery from origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination:
- Track shipments with truckers and ocean carriers, providing real-time updates to clients and agents.
- Coordinate daily communications with vendors, customers, and freight partners via phone and email.
- Collaborate with team members across different time zones to meet strict documentation and booking deadlines.

Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents using the company’s ERP system (Odoo).
- Ensure every shipment complies with international export control laws and regulations.
- Conduct research on regulations, routes, and carrier options as necessary.

Relationship Management:
- Build strong client relationships by responding to inquiries and managing special instructions.
- Source, onboard, and manage new truckers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with logistics vendors to optimize cost and service quality.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Fluent English with clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in fast, accurate data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain composure and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts to support international operations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with export documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Background in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or international trade is beneficial.
- Additional language skills, including French, are a plus.
