The Vice President of Finance at LOLC Microfinance Bank plays a critical role in leading the financial operations and strategy for the organization. This senior leadership position oversees a diverse team of 25 finance professionals, ensuring that all accounting practices adhere strictly to applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. The VP Finance is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reports, ensuring completeness and compliance with prescribed regulations. This position also manages cash flow, financial planning, and analysis activities, partnering closely with the Head of Finance and CFO to support the banks strategic financial objectives.
In addition to managing daily finance operations and enforcing internal controls, the VP Finance serves as the primary liaison with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership and development skills to guide the finance team, foster collaboration through team collaboration tools, and continuously elevate team performance. Through strategic financial leadership, the VP Finance contributes to optimized budgeting and forecasting processes, enhancing the overall financial health and sustainability of the bank.

LOLC Microfinance Bank was formerly known as Pak Oman Microfinance Bank Limited (the Bank) that was incorporated on 09 March 2006 as a public limited company under Companies Ordinance, 1984 (Repealed with the enactment of the Companies Act, 2017 on 30 May 2017) and was granted a license by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on 12 April 2006.
