The incumbent would be responsible to coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including vendors, for design finalization, supplier selection & shortlisting, ordering, installation & commissioning of Paint shop and/or project requirements, according to given timelines. He/she must have sound knowledge about Paint operations, with good command over project management tools.
You will be responsible for:
- Understand project requirements & develop project schedules (Master schedule, L2 schedule & other activity specific plans)
- Complete facility preparation, including supplier selection, ordering, installation, commissioning & try-outs of the equipment, tools, jigs and software updates for New Models.
- Design, propose & implement resource effective solutions to enhance productivity. Thereby should be able to train the operators.
- Prepare project and cost feasibility.
- Work in close coordination with all stakeholders (internal & external) to achieve the timelines
- Project monitoring on daily basis, with reporting on weekly basis, & subsequent project closure
Must be able to work in cross-functional teams and have relevant knowledge of respective production processes (Weld, Paint, Assembly)
