- To configure SAP MM business processes as per the organization’s requirements.
- Work with Finance to resolve first line FI issues and issues related to integration of FI, CO, FM and GM.
- Work closely with other SAP technical and functional resources to implement changes and improvements.
- Escalate calls to offsite consultant and/or SAP for calls which cannot be resolved in-house, and ensure they are closed on time.
- Development and maintenance of material master, vendor master, info record, service master, maintain vendor master, development and maintainenance of source list and maintain info records.
- Setting up the entire purchasing cycle with purchase requisition, purchase order with contracts & scheduling agreements for transactions processing as per the business requirement.
- Setting up the pricing procedure by defining the condition type and access sequence.
- Preparation of RFQ, Maintain and Compare Quotations.
- Recommend and implement best practices in MM.
- Perform system audit and share system utilization & accuracy report with management.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of MM, FI, FM and GM processes and integration of FI, CO, FM and GM.
- Proficient skills in configuring Material Master, PR, RFQ, PO, Agreements, Info records, Release Procedure, automatic account determination, inventory management, reservation management, split valuation and batch management.
- Should have good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools and integration points with FI, FM and GM.
