A Software Development Team Lead position with market compatible salary is available in the Software Engineering Research Lab (SERL) at LUMS. The position is for an ICT-R&D funded project focusing on the design and development of a clone management tool suite to be used by the software development organizations. The tool will capitalize on the untapped potential of software similarities that abound in existing software systems, to increase efficiency in software development and reduce maintenance costs.
The duties and responsibilities of the Team Lead include:
- Coordinate among the research and development team members
- Design and develop Software Requirement Specification and system architecture documents
- Lead the project team to: i) develop and integrate the required software components; ii) design and develop user interfaces; and 3) conduct testing and evaluation of the system
- Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
- Ensure timely delivery of project components, reports, and other deliverables
- Assist the PI/Co-PI in the smooth operation and successful completion of the project
Education: M.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience
