M&A Research Associate

Currently, we are looking for an M&A Research Associate to join our team and contribute to our strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough industry and competitive research to identify vertical market software businesses that align with our strategic investment criteria, including vertical focus and geographic location.
- Develop detailed target lists by identifying key contacts and relevant information for businesses that fit our investment profile, supporting the Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Provide actionable recommendations to the Business Development team to pursue new acquisition targets and explore entry into new or adjacent markets, aligned with our aggressive growth strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to drive M&A strategic objectives, delivering relevant reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) on projects and campaigns.
- Participate in special projects as assigned to support broader business goals.

Required Qualifications

- Proven success in a research-focused role, demonstrating strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy. Willingness to learn web scraping techniques is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Zoho, Hubspot, or Salesforce is desirable.
- Prior experience working in a business environment.
- Availability to work afternoon shifts from 1 PM to 10 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
