Maatos is building a specialised pool of language professionals for its "Language & Document Support services" module. The beta version of the website is already live, website/app development is in progress, and the formal launch is planned for September/October InshaAllah.

We are looking for dedicated freelance professionals to deliver high-quality human translations and multilingual support for various projects. This role focuses on ensuring translation accuracy and cultural appropriateness by applying expert linguistic knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Document translation, form filling, and document support.
Multilingual assistance and other language-related assignments.
Applying localization techniques to adapt translations culturally and contextually.
Strict adherence to a "No-AI" human-translation policy (as quality is closely checked to ensure outputs are acceptable even to foreign diplomatic missions).

Target Languages & Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher qualification in any language, particularly:

English
Arabic
Chinese
Other languages are also welcome. (Students and recent graduates with relevant language qualifications and good command of the language are also encouraged to apply).

Work Structure & Compensation:

Type: Independent, assignment-based, remote work.
Work Allocation: Offered according to each person's language expertise.
Payment: Per word or per assignment, depending on the nature of the task.
Experience Required: 0 Years (Fresh graduates/linguists welcome).
