Machine Learning Engineer | Sponsor US H1B

Meriti Inc. is looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer specializing in computer vision and large language models (LLM) to join our team remotely on a full-time basis. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models and LLM-based applications that address real-world business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions, applying your expertise in neural networks, natural language processing, and algorithm development to drive impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models focused on computer vision and large language models.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand business needs and deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Build and optimize neural networks and pattern recognition algorithms to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain LLM-based applications using state-of-the-art architectures such as LLaMA, GPT, or similar.
- Utilize ML frameworks and toolkits like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face to accelerate development cycles.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning of machine learning models.
- Work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment while effectively communicating progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in machine learning concepts, including neural networks and pattern recognition techniques.
- Solid foundation in computer science, statistics, and applied mathematics.
- Proven experience developing and implementing NLP and LLM-based algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in machine learning.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and excel in a remote, fast-paced work environment.
