The Machine Learning Technology Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, and test machine learning models and AI-driven solutions that enhance both client products and internal platforms. The associate will work closely with engineering and data teams to collect and preprocess data, select suitable algorithms, and integrate machine learning components into production environments. Daily responsibilities include designing experiments, training and evaluating models, tuning performance, documenting technical workflows, and supporting deployment and monitoring efforts in collaboration with DevOps and product teams. Additionally, the role involves contributing to project planning, effectively communicating technical insights to non-technical stakeholders, and continuously improving ML tools, processes, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and conduct experiments to develop and validate machine learning models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, preprocess, and analyze data.
- Select appropriate algorithms and techniques to solve business problems.
- Train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models to optimize performance.
- Document technical workflows, model architectures, and experiment results.
- Support deployment and monitoring of ML models in production environments alongside DevOps and product teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of machine learning tools, processes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills for experiment design, data interpretation, model evaluation, and troubleshooting complex ML and software issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven project management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate multiple initiatives.
- Solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Python or similar programming languages and common ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling both structured and unstructured datasets.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic data engineering concepts is advantageous.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
