Magento Developer

East River Digital is seeking a Senior Magento 2 Developer to join our dynamic team, working on enterprise-grade B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, or São Paulo, Brazil. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and scaling complex e-commerce solutions, integrating ERP systems, payment gateways, marketplaces, and AI-powered technologies to support our global clients across the US, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, China, and Brazil.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Magento 2 e-commerce platforms with a focus on B2B and B2C functionalities.
- Integrate ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, to ensure seamless business operations.
- Implement and customize B2B features such as company accounts, custom pricing, RFQs, approvals, and PunchOut integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
- Optimize platform performance using tools like Hyvä themes, ElasticSuite, and AWS infrastructure.
- Apply best practices in security, testing, deployment, and code quality to maintain robust and reliable applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges independently while supporting team objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Magento architecture.
- Experience working with Magento Open Source and/or Adobe Commerce editions.
- Demonstrated expertise in B2B e-commerce functionalities including company accounts, pricing strategies, RFQs, approvals, and PunchOut.
- Proven track record of integrating ERP systems, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with Hyvä themes, ElasticSuite, AWS cloud services, and performance optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, scalability considerations, testing methodologies, and deployment best practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
