Magento Developer

We are looking for a skilled Magento Developer with a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in Magento 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire eCommerce development lifecycle, focusing on delivering high performance, scalability, and smooth functionality across multiple platforms. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring alignment with the EST time zone, working hours from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites to meet business requirements.
- Create and improve custom modules, extensions, and themes to enhance site capabilities.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRM/ERP systems for seamless operations.
- Ensure optimal site performance, scalability, and robust data security measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with design, QA, and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, optimize application performance, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Keep up to date with the latest Magento and eCommerce technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Magento 2 development.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, including custom integrations.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and tools like Composer for dependency management and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with headless Magento implementations or frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
- Magento 2 Certification is highly desirable.
