The supervisor manages a large team of 300 personnel, driving production planning, process improvements, and scheduling to meet company standards and customer expectations. The Production Floor Supervisor leads the team by maintaining high levels of productivity and quality while adhering to safety regulations. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize workflow, implement process enhancements, and resolve production issues promptly. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations on the floor, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a production team of 300 employees to ensure smooth operational workflow.
  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet daily and weekly targets on time and within quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with various departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate training programs for team members.
  • Identify production bottlenecks or challenges and develop effective solutions to overcome them.
  • Monitor production output and quality metrics while maintaining accurate reports and documentation.
  • Enforce strict adherence to workwear manufacturing standards and specifications.
  • Maintain equipment reliability through regular inspections and timely maintenance coordination.
  • Support the development and implementation of new production techniques or technologies.
  • Foster team motivation, collaboration, and effective communication across all shifts.
  • Manage inventory levels related to production materials to avoid delays and shortages.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Address and resolve workforce issues including scheduling conflicts, absenteeism, or disciplinary matters.
