Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kernelpop. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth and reliable operation of our food processing equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will have a solid background in mechanical and electronic systems, with a particular focus on PLC-based machinery. Experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLC-based systems and other electronic and mechanical components.
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate timely repairs to avoid production interruptions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance operations, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLC-based systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates residing in Shah Latif Town, Port Qasim, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Landhi, or nearby areas will be given preference.
- The position is based in Ghaghar Phatak, Port Qasim, Karachi, with pick and drop transportation provided.
- This is an in-person role requiring physical presence at the work location.
