Maintenance Executive

Barkat Frisian is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team at the Port Qasim facility in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaboration with mechanical teams to support overall plant efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, MCC panels, control panels, motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, and related equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults promptly and implement timely rectification to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial electrical installations.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team for integrated electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits accurately.
- Ensure all electrical equipment is operated and maintained safely in compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Adhere strictly to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and electrical safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical from a recognized technical institute.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of industrial experience in electrical maintenance.
- Practical experience with electrical control systems and industrial equipment.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
- Experience working in industrial plants, manufacturing, food processing, refrigeration, or similar environments is preferred.

Required Skills
