Maintenance Officer

Pakistan Tobacco Company currently has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer based in Akora Khattak, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize machinery and equipment performance to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
- Identify maintenance issues promptly and implement effective solutions to prevent efficiency losses.
- Conduct regular scheduled maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
- Develop, standardize, and document maintenance processes and protocols.
- Train and guide team members on proper operation and maintenance techniques.
- Respond swiftly to critical equipment failures to minimize operational disruptions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities.
- Contribute actively to the design and execution of maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Maintain composure and deliver strong performance under pressure.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and team development.
- Self-driven with the ability to lead and motivate a team comprising both contractual and unionized employees.
- Skilled in root cause analysis to address recurring issues and manage timely defect resolution.
- Comprehensive understanding of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, factory operations, engineering controls, and administrative procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in delivering effective training and presentations to enhance the skills of shop floor employees.
